Our special guest for these events will be Nate Morgan Locke, filmmaker, speaker, author, poet and Creative Director for Speak Life. Nate writes and speaks widely about faith, creativity and the stories we tell. Drawing from life experience and faith Nate will be exploring the stories of real people wanting to win at life and how an encounter with Jesus was the life change they were looking for.

Bohdan Reshetiov is a concert pianist, composer and arranger from Ukraine who now resides in Chesham. He performs with his wife Oleksandra, and his mother-in-law, Svitlana Kalinichenko, who are both professional violinists. In a programme that includes some of Bohdan’s own compositions and arrangements we will hear what inspires and drives his creativity, and the influences that have shaped this talented family.

Thursday 19th October 8pm

Gary Grant, founder and boss of The Entertainer toy store chain and the vision behind initiatives such as Restore Hope, Latimer, has developed a business model that aims to transform local communities. Hear how Gary’s drive for making money was turned into a deeper passion for making a lasting difference through his faith.

We also welcome Mandy and Clive Dunstall who will perform during the evening. They have directed and performed in west end shows such as Phantom and Hairspray, and are based in Chesham.

Tobias Brown thought he had found identity and community as a member of the notorious Black Stone gang in Chicago. Instead, his life spiralled downwards into a dark world of violence and then prison at 16.

Tobias shares his experience of gang life, incarceration and solitary confinement in a maximum security prison, and the dramatic journey to faith that turned his life around.
